Email and password authentication, password reset emails, email verification, and Google sign-in are handled through Firebase Authentication. Authentication credentials are not stored in the website's calculation history or saved report database.

Calculator Inputs and Results

Calculator inputs are initially processed in your browser using JavaScript. When you use a calculator without signing in, the numbers you enter are not intentionally saved to an online account database by the basic calculation itself.

When you are signed in, eligible calculation inputs, results, calculator names, page references, and timestamps may be stored as calculation history so they can be viewed and downloaded through your dashboard.

Saved Reports and Visualizations

When you save a report, chart, visualization, or calculation breakdown, we may store information including:

• The calculator name and report title
• The inputs and calculated results
• Chart or table data
• Formula explanations or metric descriptions
• The calculator page associated with the report
• The date and time the report was saved

Saved reports are associated with your signed-in account. You can view, open, download, print, or delete available reports from your dashboard.

How Calculators Work

Calculator formulas run client-side in your web browser. This means the initial calculation is performed locally on your device rather than requiring a server to calculate the result.

Client-side processing does not mean that no data is ever stored. If you are signed in and calculation history is enabled, or if you save a report, the relevant inputs and results may be transmitted to and stored in the account database so they can appear in your dashboard.

Firebase and Google Services

SolveIndex uses Google Firebase services for features that may include:

• Creating and managing user accounts
• Email and password authentication
• Google account sign-in
• Password reset and email verification
• Maintaining authentication state
• Storing calculation history and saved reports

When you use these features, information may be processed by Google and Firebase according to their applicable privacy, security, and data processing terms.

When you use Google sign-in, SolveIndex does not receive your Google account password. We may receive basic account information made available through the authentication process, such as your email address, display name, provider identifier, and account identifier.

Browser Storage and Similar Technologies

The website and its service providers may use browser-based storage technologies such as local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, cookies, or similar mechanisms for essential functionality.
